Title: Maintenance Supervisor - Wood Manufacturing
Location: El Campo, Texas
Salary: $85,000-$115,000/Year + Bonus and Small Relocation Package
Requirements: 6+ Years in a Maintenance Supervisor role with high speed manufacturing experience and the ability to work with a team of 10-20. Candidate must have extensive experience with Electrical, Hydraulic, and ability to troubleshoot and experience with PLC's. Bachelor Degree preferred for this role. This role will supervise 3 shifts.
What You Will Be Doing
Key plant leader in safety culture and EH&S compliance, improvement initiatives.
Manage around 15 maintenance leads, technicians and support team members across 3 shifts.
Provide training, technical support in repair and troubleshooting mechanical equipment.
Provide training, technical support in repair and troubleshooting electrical/electronic equipment.
Develop, train, audit and assist as needed with preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance and TPM program, execution.
Factory environment, possibly including heavy lifting, and areas where eye protection, hearing protection, and respirators are required.
Manage planning, scheduling, tool, supplies and MRO parts inventory with storeroom and tool room manager using TabWare, Great plains software or equivalent.
Manage maintenance of ground and housekeeping in the facility internal ground and housekeeper resources.
Lead department productivity improvement, MRO and energy cost reduction while improving downtime and equipment life.
Support Production in RCFA of safety and quality issues.
Participate in Lean Kaizen event as part of plant continuous improvement effort.
Support plant budget development and manage maintenance budget.
Support capital engineering projects (i.e. equipment, facilities/infrastructure, etc.) due diligence and implementation.
Other duties as deemed necessary by management.
What You Need for this Position
Experience working within OSHA safety guidelines
5+ years of Industrial Maintenance experience
10+ years Supervision/leadership experience
Strong electrical, PLC/CNC troubleshooting capabilities
Strong mechanical aptitude
Experience with project development and machine moving
Advanced computer skills; working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office
Experience working with woodworking machinery and/or cabinet manufacturing process is a plus
Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
Ability to read, write and speak in Spanish is a plus
