My client is a leading general contracting firm specializing in electrical, mechanical, plumbing, piping projects across the US. Our commitment to excellence and safety is paramount, and we pride ourselves on delivering projects that meet the highest industry standards. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety Manager to oversee and enforce our comprehensive safety programs across multiple construction sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction safety management and a passion for ensuring the well-being of all workers on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
-Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken.
-Lead safety training programs for all employees, including new hire orientations, tool box talks, and ongoing safety education.
-Investigate accidents and incidents to determine causes and implement corrective measures.
-Maintain and analyze safety records and statistics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
-Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to integrate safety protocols into project planning and execution.
-Ensure all safety equipment and materials are up to date and readily available on-site.
-Serve as the primary point of contact for safety-related issues and concerns on all job sites.
Qualifications:
-At least 5 years of experience in safety management within the construction industry.
-In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards in electrical, plumbing, piping and mechanical construction.
-Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence and motivate a diverse workforce.
-Proven ability to conduct thorough investigations and implement effective safety solutions.
-Proficiency in safety management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
