Position Overview
For over 40 years we have been recognized as an award-winning multi-disciplined company that concentrates on a variety of specialized construction areas such as earthwork, heavy construction, civil, wastewater facilities, commercial, municipality, health care, retail, and educational facilities throughout New York State.

We are seeking a skilled Superintendent for our self-perform concrete and earthwork division. Please note: this job in Lake Placid will last one year; then the candidate will need to relocate to the Albany area.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily construction activities and ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to optimize project efficiency and schedule.
Monitor project progress and report on milestones to stakeholders.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications.
Resolve any issues that arise during the construction process in a timely manner.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in a Superintendent role
Experience must include soil stabilization, mass excavation of basements and footings, excavation of ponds and channels, new parking lot grading and clearing, etc.
Experience with projects $1M to $6M or more
