Accountant
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Accountant to manage financial records, ensure compliance with regulations, and provide financial insights. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction accounting and payroll, along with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
- Conduct monthly reconciliations of bank statements
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with payroll regulations
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes
- Perform financial analysis to identify trends and variances
- Assist with audit preparations and tax filings
- Maintain knowledge of GAAP accounting principles
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Proven experience in accounting, preferably within the construction industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as Quickbooks
- Strong understanding of payroll processes and regulations
- Experience with accounts payable and receivable management
- Familiarity with financial statement preparation and analysis
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
