Title: Refrigeration Technician - Food Manufacturing
Location: McDonough, GA 30253 (Southeast Atlanta)
Hourly: $32 - $40 / Hour + Overtime (Target Earnings $80,000 - $100,000)
Working Hours: Mon-Fri 4am-4pm OR Mon-Fri 4pm-4am
What You Will Be Doing
Run facilities equipment i.e. ammonia compressors, air compressors, air dryers, heat exchangers, boilers, glycol systems, filters, spiral freezers, HVAC units, pumps, DWAFT, blowers, etc.
Troubleshoot or replace devices i.e. valves, filters, belts, bearings, pumps, hoses, pneumatic and basic electrical power components etc.
Perform & document logging of vital process & equipment information i.e. temperature and pressure of ammonia compressors, boiler steam pressure, wastewater effluent pH
Perform & document work order repairs, inspections & adjustments along w/ preventative maintenance
Assist management in developing SOPs & duty cycles for all repairs & maintenance
Interpret specs, schematics, operating & maintenance manuals for systems being overseen
Participate in plant safety, SQF2000, health & environmental programs.
What You Need for this Position
Reta II, PSM/RMP or other refrigeration training
3+ years of experience with anhydrous ammonia refrigeration plants, air compressors, dryers, heat exchangers, boilers, glycol systems, filters, spiral freezers, HVAC units, pumps, blowers etc
Strong experience in a food manufacturing setting
Ability to work in a climate controlled GMP manufacturing plant
Experience w/ electrical meters, maintenance tools & MS Office
