Position Overview
We are seeking a Tax Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in corporate accounting and taxation with a background in public accounting.

Our firm has been serving the Cleveland area for over 30 years and is continuing to grow. We value our employees and clients and strive to make all feel valued. We are looking forward to welcoming a new Senior Accountant to our beautiful office with many modern amenities.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review tax returns for individuals and corporations.
Conduct comprehensive tax research and implement strategies for tax savings.
Oversee corporate accounting functions including month-end and year-end closing processes.
Manage and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support.
Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
Utilize QuickBooks and CCH Tax Access for efficient accounting and tax preparation.
Prepare financial reports and present findings to management.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance related field.
CPA or EA certification preferred
Minimum of 2 years of experience in public and corporate accounting.
Proficient in QuickBooks and CCH Tax Access software.
Strong knowledge of tax regulations and accounting principles.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
