Tax Manager

Position Overview
The Tax Manager will oversee tax compliance and planning for a diverse range of clients, including high net worth individuals and various business entities. This role is integral in ensuring adherence to tax regulations while optimizing tax strategies and enhancing client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and review tax compliance for S-Corps, C-Corps, Partnerships, and High Net Worth Individuals (HNWIs).
Prepare and review individual (1040), business (1120S, 1065), estate (706), and trust (1041) tax returns.
Conduct tax research to support various tax positions and strategies.
Assist in tax planning and strategy development for clients to minimize tax liability.
Supervise and mentor junior tax staff in their preparation and review processes.
Coordinate with clients to gather necessary financial information and documentation for tax filings.
Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations affecting clients.
Provide exceptional client service and build strong client relationships.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Active CPA license required; EA designation a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax preparation and compliance, with a focus on high net worth individuals and business entities.
Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and tax software.
Experience in public accounting preferred.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
