Position Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Tax Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing tax compliance and advisory services for our clients, particularly focusing on high-net-worth individuals, pass-through entities etc.. This position offers an opportunity to lead a team, provide strategic tax planning, and ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the preparation and review of complex individual and entity tax returns.
- Conduct tax research and analysis to identify tax-saving opportunities for clients.
- Manage and mentor junior staff members in tax compliance and advisory services.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide expert tax advice.
- Stay updated on tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and optimize client outcomes.
- Lead tax planning engagements and contribute to firm-wide tax strategy discussions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- 5+ years of public accounting experience with a focus on tax.
- Active CPA or EA preferred.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
- Experience with high net worth individuals and pass-through entities preferred.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficient in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
