REMOTE Tax Manager

What You Will Be Doing

• Perform tax reviews for Partnership, Individual, S-Corp, and C-Corp tax returns. Minimal preparation for more complex returns, as needed.
• Assume responsibility for tax returns and delegates to the various tax preparers as deemed necessary. 
• Participate actively in client meetings and tax planning efforts 
• Communicate effectively with clients and meet critical deadline
• Participate in firm's practice development efforts

What You Need for this Position

• CPA required.
• 1+ years of management experience
• 5+ years of extensive knowledge of the tax laws for S-Corps, C-Corps, Partnerships and Individuals
• Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Ability to adhere to given budgets and time deadlines
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and the Internet
• Ability to manage own time and the time of others
• Ability to motivate, develop and direct people as they work
• Capacity to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Understanding of how to apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
• Ability to demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to train, orient and mentor staff
